Spend your holiday in a relaxed atmosphere surrounded by unspoiled nature.  Stay in a comfortable Safari Lodge and start your adventure! 

The “Adventures week” has almost everything. Go canoeing, hiking, horse riding, birdwatching, wine tasting, caving, sightseeing, wild swimming, boat cruising and many more.

With 5 selected activities and a lot of free time it’s a perfect balance between adventure and relaxation. This is a group holiday for a maximum of 8 people and a minimum age of 6 years. The activities are from easy to moderate but require a good level of fitness. Check out a basic itinerary below and customize it with us to make your perfect trip!

Day 1 – Arrival

Arrival at the glamping. Your first evening we gonna run a party a “welcome – BBQ dinner” with an introduction and getting to know each others. Best food, drinks and great atmosphere guaranteed.

Day 2 – canoeing under the stars

As it is your first day after a long trip, it is an easy starter. Enjoy your breakfast with a view over the surrounding mountains on “Hoopoe’s terrace”. There are some fantastic viewpoints just a stone throw away.  Take a short walk around our tiny village, meet our friendly locals and taste their honey and other homemade products. You can try out some of the trails we brought up to live and walk to the nearest river (we know some magic, wild swimming spots) or enjoy simple be in and around your Safari Lodge.

Around 4 pm we head off for a short canoe trip towards an abandoned fisherman village. There we enjoy a campfire cooked meal and watch the most beautiful sunset on Skadar Lake. After our dinner in the wild we canoe back over black mirrored water and admire millions of stars and absolute silence. For many this is a unique experience, leaving them with long lasting memories.

DAY 3 – hiking and cruising

This adventure starts right from our camp. We will take you on one-of-a-kind hiking tour towards a hidden fisherman village across the mountains. Some of the trails we personally brought back to life and are used again for the first time in decades. As we make our way along ancient paths and through lush forests there are picturesque mountain villages, rarely visited by other tourists, waiting to be discovered. At the end of the hike we arrive to a magical village on the lake shore. Here the time has stopped. We take a break in magnificent scenery and immerse in unspoiled nature, refresh in one of the rock pools and swim wild in the purest mountain waterfalls. On the way back to the glamping you get treated with a boat cruise over the lake.

DAY 4 – Horse ridinG

Horses and wild nature it’s a wonderful fit. Exploring the breathtaking scenery, wild nature and unique flora and fauna on a horse back is an unforgettable experience. We will ride through wild meadows, along pristine rivers and up to a medieval castle, full of history and with great view over the mountains and wetlands. Along the way there is also opportunity to dive off a bridge and swim in the river.

DAY 5 – day off

Perfect time to explore other places in this part of Montenegro. Visit old town of Bar (Stari Bar) and spend a day on the coast…or just take your time lounging in the sun with your book and drink at Hoopoe’s terrace. You can do as little or as much as you like. It’s ok! 

DAY 6 – canoe adventure

Around the islands. This canoe trip is suitable for all levels of fitness. We start canoeing from Vranjina island and follow hidden channels around some beautiful islands. Admire fantastic views, lots of birdlife and the tranquility of the lake. One break to go out and climb the top of one of the islands to see full 360° over the lake and wetlands. Along the way we have a few breaks to swim, relax and enjoy our packed-lunch on a secluded beach.

Day 7 – Wine tour

What is the holiday without tasting all locals are proud of? We will take you on the best wine tour. We are settled in the Crmnica region that is famous for the red “Vranac” grapes. Homemade wine is a part of shared cultural experience. You will have a chance to taste different wines from local, boutique wineries. All combined with best montenegrin tapas.

Day 8 – Departure 

Eat your last heavenly breakfast, get ready. You are welcome to a lazy check-out, up until 12pm on your last day.
