All booked Active Holidays Packages for season 2023 require 70% of secure deposit paid by BACS (Bank Transfer) in conditions as follow:
i. reservation made till 31.01.2023 – deposit payment till 07.02.2023
ii. reservation made after 31.01.2023 – deposit must be paid within 7 days.
The balanced due will be made on arrival by cash.
If the above payments are not received as indicated, Hoopoe Glamping and Adventures reserves the right to cancel your holidays in which case will be unable to confirm the booking for you.
We trust, that deposit represents a commitment bonding both parties to respect terms. It gives a safety for a small, family business like us.
2. CANCELLETION AND RESCHEDULE
We understand that all plans may change and to follow simplifying travel, we have eliminated reschedule fees.
- No fees for changes (postpone) – you have the flexibility to change the date of your arrival without a fee within 30 days after your reservation was confirmed and up to 60 days prior your planned day of arrival.
In case of cancellation the following charges will apply:
i. 31 days and more before arrival – 20% of total booking price
ii. between 30 and 15 days before arrival – 50% of total booking price
iii. between 15 and 7 days before arrival – Loss of deposit (70% of total booking price)
iv. less than 7 days before arrival – 100% of total booking price
Percentages are calculated on the basis of the total cost payable by the person(s) cancelling.
Cancellation must be immediately sent and will only be effective when it is received in writing at mail: team@hoopoeglamping.com

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ACTIVE HOLIDAYS PACKAGES
- PRICES AND PAYMENT
The deposit must be paid with bank transfer to Hoopoe Glamping and Adventures LLC, incorporated in Montenegro with company registration number 50879921. Due balance is to be paid on arrival by cash.
All prices that we advertise are accurate at the date published on our website, but we reserve the right to change any of those prices in special circumstances.
2. CHANGES TO BOOKINGS
If, after confirming your booking, you would like to change your arrangement (for example: change your room, your party, adapt tours or add activities), we will do our best to make these changes but it may not be always possible .
Extending your stay is possible in consultation with us and for an additional cost.
In some circumstances, we may need to make a major change to your holiday after your booking has been confirmed. A major change is a change to different standard of accommodation, or a change to one of your activities. When a major change occurs, we will notify you as quickly as possible and you will have the choice of either accepting the change, or accepting a replacement holiday from us of equivalent or closely similar standard and price, or cancelling your holiday, in which case we shall refund you in full.
3. STAYING AT HOOPOE GLAMPING AND ADVENTURE
i. Hoopoe Glamping and Adventure is an adult and children campsite.
ii. When staying at Hoopoe campsite, please keep all valuables and belongings safe. In the event that your personal possessions are lost, stolen, damaged or misplaced on the premises, Hoopoe Glamping and Adventures does not assume financial responsibility.
iii. Smoking in the tents is strictly prohibited. Any evidence of smoking and/or inappropriate use of fire outside of designated places and/or inappropriate disposal of charcoal can attract an additional cleaning surcharge of a minimum of 150€ and a referral to the authorities for negligent behaviour.
iv. You agree to leave the site and the tent in the condition it was on arrival, and that you will report any damages which have occurred during your stay.
v. If your behaviour or from members of your party causes danger or upset other guests we have the authority to remove you or the persons causing the problems.
vi. Management declines all responsibility for loss, theft, or damage resulting from acts of God, natural disasters and public disorder, and for injury or ill health caused by other guests, insects, epidemics, disease, and vegetation.
4. YOUR HOLIDAY
“Active Holidays” is a holiday package of accommodation in one of our glamping tents, together with tours with professional guides and some meals and drinks as quoted in the offer placed on our website. We provide professional service and a small group tours from 2 to 10 people (with some exceptions). A small group gives a chance to adopt our itineraries to your preference and ability. The customisation of our basic packages will affect the price.
Tours are accepted on the understanding that you appreciate and accept the possible risks inherent in the types of holidays we offer including injury, disease, loss or damage to property, inconvenience and discomfort, and that you undertake any tours, activities, treks or expeditions which are included as part of your holiday at your own volition.
We may operate tours in regions where standards of infrastructure, transport, safety, hygiene, medical facilities and other may, at times, be lower than those you normally expect or different to those applicable in the EU. If a particular service which gives rise to the claim or complaint complied with the local laws and regulations applicable to those services at the time, the services will be treated as having been properly provided. This will be the case even if the services did not comply with the laws and regulations of the EU.
The whole philosophy of the type of holidays we offer, is one that allows alternatives and a substantial degree of on-trip flexibility. The outline itineraries given for each holiday must therefore be taken as an indication of what each group should accomplish, and not as a contractual obligation on our part. Changes in itinerary may be caused by mechanical breakdown, weather, sickness, or other unforeseeable circumstances.
5. PASSPORTS, VISAS, HEALTH REQUIREMENTS AND TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents before departure. We regret that we cannot accept liability if you are refused entry onto any transport or into any country due to failure on your part to carry contact documentation.
6. COMPLAINS
Any complaints should be immediately reported to us at the time of your stay as we will often be able to take appropriate action.

We will only accept your complaint if you inform us during your stay. After your departure we may not investigate the issue and be able to take action.
7. OUR LIABILITY TO YOU
You are protected against any failure by us to provide the contracted services. Including financial reimbursement. Our insurance covers any business operating liability, including indirect or secondary liabilities, and liability for damage to property, personal injury, and financial responsibility.
Please note that this covers the company, and does not cover any individual.
Nothing shall limit or exclude our liability for: death or personal injury resulting from our negligence; or for any damage or liability incurred by you as a result of our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to the paragraph above, we shall not be liable for: any special, indirect, or consequential losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses. Our total liability in contract, tort (including if we have been negligent or are in breach of our statutory duty), or misrepresentation arising in connection with our performance, or contemplated performance under this contract shall be limited to the price paid by you for the services in question.
Management declines all responsibility for loss, theft, or damage resulting from acts of God, natural disasters and public disorder, and for injury or ill health caused by other guests, insects, epidemics, disease, and vegetation.
8. INSURANCE
It is a condition of your booking that you and all other members of your party are adequately insured for all of the activities that they will be taking part in. In addition, any person who is under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
9. HEALTH AND FITNESS
All our holidays involve walking and canoeing to some degree. Some of the walks or canoe trips are of a moderate to high level of fitness. You should have the appropriate level of fitness for the chosen activity holiday.
For your own safety, please advise us of any health conditions such as asthma, diabetes, pregnancy, heart problems or any other health condition that could be affected by participating in our holidays. We reserve the right to decline a reservation on health grounds.
10. CUSTOMER CONDUCT
Our tutors, guides, drivers and ourselves reserve the right to terminate your stay, if in our opinion, your behaviour is considered a danger to yourself or others. This also applies if your behaviour is abusive towards other people, or you have caused damage with intent to our property, including theft. Under these circumstances, you may be asked to find your own way back to the airport. No refunds will be paid to you and we may make a claim against you for any costs and expenses incurred because of your behaviour. Criminal proceedings may also be instigated.
11. DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
We can cater for vegetarians and vegans as well as other diet exclusions . Please let us know of any dietary requirements when you are in the process of booking your holiday with us. If some products are not available in Montenegro, we will advise you to bring this with you.
12. TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS
It is not our responsibility to organise transport to and from the meeting point advised to you at the time of your booking. All transport or travel related bookings, expenses, insurance and other requirements in this respect are your responsibility and the responsibility of any other travellers who may be in your party. We can arrange for you transfer from the nearest airport (Podgorica, Tivat) but it is not a part of our contract and we do not take responsibility for external services.
13. GENERAL
The Contract between you and us is binding on you and us and on anyone either we or you transfer the Contract to. You may not transfer, charge or otherwise dispose of a Contract, or any of your rights or obligations arising under it, without our prior written consent. We may transfer, charge, sub-contract or otherwise dispose of a Contract, or any of our rights or obligations arising under it, at any time during the term of the Contract.
