These terms and conditions apply to booking of your stay at Hoopoe Glamping and apply to reservations made through hoopoeglamping.com directly. Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third parties are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies and for assistance. Guests who book Active Holidays with us, tours and other services are sent special terms and conditions to confirm.

Please take the time to read these terms and conditions before booking your stay or activity with Hoopoe Glamping and Adventure. By accessing this website, you agree to accept, without limitation, all of these terms and conditions of use. Only the bookings of stay are subject to these terms and conditions and the person making the booking is deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions on behalf of the individuals staying at Hoopoe Glamping and Adventure. Hoopoe Glamping and Adventure has the right to change or update these terms & conditions without prior notice by posting amended terms on our website.

Check in/Check out

Check in: from 1.30pm. Check out: By 10:30am. Variations on these times may be available. Please enquire before making your booking.

Bookings

Hoopoe Glamping and Adventure is an adult and children campsite with facilities suitable for children, babies or teenagers. In order to secure and confirm your booking, you must pay the full amount of your stay plus required local tax (1.1EUR/person/night).

Bookings may be transferred to another guest only with managements prior written approval and free of fee.

All bookings are subject to availability.

You agree to not bring any more people than the tent has been booked for. Hoopoe reserves the right to request additional guests to leave if this is not adhered to; and in extreme circumstances may evict you from the property without a refund. Hoopoe Glamping and Adventures strongly recommends that at the time of booking you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover items including but not limited to: loss of booking amount through cancellation, loss or damage to personal baggage, loss of money and medical expenses.

Cancellation policy

Due to high demand for booking in a season, please only book the dates you are sure to stay. Any variation to your booking may attract a fee. If you need to cancel your booking once it has been confirmed, you must immediately advise us in writing: team@hoopoeglamping.com.

The following cancellation charges will be payable:

If the booking is cancelled 30 or more days before arrival then a charge equal to 10% of the stay will be made. If the booking is cancelled less than 30 days before arrival then a charge equal to 50% of the stay will be made.
If the booking is cancelled less than 14 days before arrival then a charge equal to 80% of the stay will be made.

Rules about the site

Strictly no smoking is permitted in the tents. Any evidence of smoking and/or inappropriate use of fire outside of designated places and/or inappropriate disposal of charcoal can attract an additional cleaning surcharge of a minimum of 150€ and a referral to the authorities for negligent behaviour.

When staying at Hoopoe campsite, please keep all valuables and belongings safe. In the event that your personal possessions are lost, stolen, damaged or misplaced on the premises, Hoopoe Glamping and Adventures does not assume financial responsibility.

Hoopoe Glamping and Adventures strongly recommends that at the time of booking you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover items including but not limited to: loss of booking amount through cancellation, loss or damage to personal baggage, loss of money and medical expenses. When staying at Hoopoe campsite, please keep all valuables and belongings safe. Any damage, loss or expense incurred by management as a result of your stay will be chargedand pay back. Examples of this include but are not limited to any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements or extra guests beyond those declared.

You agree to leave the site and the tent in the condition it was on arrival, and that you will report any damages which have occurred during your stay.

Pets

We may accept pets travelling with our guests with some limitations, but it needs to be notice before making booking and confirming special terms and conditions sent into your mailbox. For an extra fee, we supply all the essentials amenities for pets.

Weather conditions

All bookings are subject to suitable weather conditions and Hoopoe Glamping and Adventure has the right to cancel or reschedule bookings due to natural events such as excessive winds, fire risks or a mechanical failure at any time including during your stay. Management will inform you immediately as this becomes evident to them and endeavour to obtain suitable alternative accommodation for your occupancy; failing which any monies paid will be refunded in the same method as the booking was secured or in the form of a gift voucher at managements discretion.

Vehicles

You agree to follow the supplied route to the designated Hoopoe Glamping and park at one of our parking spots. Hoopoe Glamping and Adventures takes no responsibility for loss or damage to vehicles including but not limited to rocks or debris on the road, uneven surfaces, exposed rocks, wildlife or washed road surfaces.

Campfires

Campfires must only be lit in the designated areas and subject to suitable weather conditions, fire bans and any directions from management.

Private Information

You consent and authorise Hoopoe Glamping and Adventures to collect, use and disclose your personal information for the purposes of administering your booking and providing you with any services associated with your booking.

You consent to information which you have provided to Hoopoe Glamping and Adventures as part of your booking being used for the purpose of informing you about offers and promotions.

Hoopoe Glamping and Adventures will not provide or disclose any information you have provided to any person without your prior written consent, except to the extent required to administer your booking and providing you with any services associated with your booking.

Upon request and to the extent permitted or required by law, Hoopoe Glamping and Adventures will provide an individual with access to and/or the ability to correct their personal information held by Hoopoe Glamping and Adventures.

Indemnity and Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by the law, you agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless, Hoopoe Glamping and Adventures and its current and former officers, employees, contractors, sub-contractors/consultants (including their respective employees and contractors) and agents against, from and in respect of all expenses, costs, liabilities, claims, actions, proceedings, damages, judgments and losses of any kind whatsoever (including but not limited to consequential and economic losses, property loss/damage and damages for injury, including personal injury and death) arising out of, caused by, attributable to or resulting from your booking or your stay at the property except to the extent such expense, cost, liability, claim, action, proceeding, damage, judgment or loss arose out of, was caused by, attributable to or resulted from Hoopoe Glamping and Activities’s negligence, wrongful act/omission or breach of these terms and conditions.

To the extent permitted by law the aggregate of Hoopoe Glamping and Adventures’s liability to you is limited to an amount not exceeding the amount paid by you for your booking.

Each indemnity in these terms and conditions is a continuing and independent obligation and survives the termination or expiry of these terms and conditions.

Miscellaneous

If part or all of any clause of these terms and conditions is illegal, invalid or unenforceable then it will be read down to the extent necessary to ensure that it is not illegal, invalid or unenforceable, but if that is not possible, it will be severed from these terms and conditions and the remaining provisions of these terms and conditions will continue to have full force and effect.
